Welcome!

Dear IUVA Members and Potential Members,

We have now completed our first quarter of the 2012 calendar year, and the IUVA is experiencing growth globally.  Our community has increased along with our visibility worldwide, while we remain steadfast in our commitment to our mission and goals.

Over the next weeks and into the summer we will experience several new developments -- multiple programs, webinars and regional meetings.  We invite all members to take a fresh look at the website meetings/events feature to learn more about the upcoming programs, and we look forward to your participation in those events.  

Our delivery of the first 2012 edition of IUVA News was very successful, and the next edition will be out in June.   We encourage all members and your associates to share information and any articles you might feel pertinent and interesting to the readers of IUVA News.  The first edition was opened up for viewing to everyone as a one-time trial, both members and non-members, and the result was that we experienced much more traffic with our website during that period. Thus, IUVA News has become an important marketing tool for the recruitment of new members and the retention of current members.

We now have the all three Hub Directors in place with the newest member of the team, Professor Wenjun Liu as Asia/Australia Hub Director.  Dr. Liu, welcome, and we look forward to future programs and events.

With our growth, IUVA will begin to look at best practices from a non-profit standpoint as we proceed with those enhancements. 

Thank you for being members and being involved in IUVA.  For those of you who are not members, you are missing some golden opportunities to increase your knowledge about the UV industry.  We invite you take a second and look at what we are doing.
